Fernand Everaert likes to work in several ceramic techniques. In contrast to the variety of techniques he always throws the same basic forms: open bowls and cups, inspired by Roman pots, often with small, simple decorations on the outside.
In the gallery you can see two kinds of work:
- Black smoked pots on the outside rough and without glaze, on the inside with a white crackled glaze
- Polished orange-red-redbrown pots with terra sigillata, the famous Roman red slip.
